How to mircast on Lenovo k8 note

I have went on a lot of websites searchingthis question and people say that we should root our phone for mircasting toour TV. I had a Lenovo k5 note and it had a cast option in the notification barand it was really easy to cast. I would really appreciate anyone who would tellme how to mircast with k8 note. Thank you
